A good bachelorette invitation does two jobs. It sets the mood, and it answers every question guests will otherwise send you one by one. Get the details right and you'll save yourself dozens of messages in the group chat.
What to include
Every invitation needs:
- The bride's name and a short headline.
- Date and time. For a weekend, include arrival and departure times.
- Location. City and venue, or "address to follow" if it's a surprise.
- The plan in one line. "Dinner, dancing and a spa morning."
- Cost per person and what it includes. This is the most important line for guests.
- Payment deadline and how to pay.
- RSVP date and who to reply to.
- Dress code or theme.
- What to bring. Swimsuit, outfit for the theme night, comfortable shoes.
Always state the cost up front. Guests would much rather know before they say yes. For how to work it out fairly, read how to split bachelorette costs.

Frequently asked questions
Should a bachelorette invitation say how much it costs?
Yes. Include the cost per person and what it covers. It's the information guests need most, and it avoids awkward conversations later.
Who sends the bachelorette invitations?
Usually the maid of honor or whoever is organising the party. The bride shares the guest list and contact details.
Can you send bachelorette invitations by text?
Absolutely. A digital invitation shared in the group chat or by email is the norm now. Pin it in the group so everyone can find the details later.
